SendinBlue was originally designed to meet the needs of ecommerce merchants. Many features were created to help ecommerce merchants provide excellent customer service, particularly the customer order import feature. Use transactional contact fields to record transactions relating to a specific contact. See our tutorial for more information.
A common example is the completion of a transaction on your website. Each customer order will have its own characteristics, such as: order ID, amount and date of the order, etc. This information will appear directly in your SendinBlue contacts dashboard.
You can then use these new fields segment your contacts based on their shopping behaviors. For example, you can create special offers for customers who have spent more than $100 on your website. The transactional fields are also very useful for setting up personalized metrics such as the average spend or 90-day sales totals, which appear directly on your dashboard.
