Creating a SendinBlue email campaign is now easier than ever!

If you’ve logged into your SendinBlue account and created a campaign in the past few days, you’ve probably noticed something new! We are happy to announce the new and improved campaign editor — designed to be more intuitive, giving you more power and control over your campaigns.

We gave our campaign editor a facelift to make it more intuitive and easy-to-use than ever. With the new editor, we’ve cut the campaign creation process into 4 steps:

  • Setup – A quick and painless configuration of the most important elements of your campaign (e.g. sender email, subject line, etc.)
  • Design – An even more powerful email design tool to easily create beautiful, responsive design emails
  • Recipients – An advanced segmentation tool that’s easy to use regardless of experience level
  • Confirm –  A clear summary of the most important parts of your campaign to review and confirm for an anxiety-free email campaign

Campaign creation reimagined

We have completely reimagined and overhauled our campaign creation process for more simplicity and easier navigation.

Now you can easily move between the different steps thanks to the navigation bar situated at the top of the page.

This new addition lets you work in a more fluid fashion, following the order of steps that makes the most sense to you. For example, you can define which segment you would like to receive the campaign before creating the email in the editor with just one click.

To make your life even easier, there is also a red marker that indicates any steps that are left incomplete. If you hover over them with your mouse cursor, a window will appear with details about the missing elements in that step.

Using the same hover method, you can also quickly visualize the main elements of each step without having to change pages:

Essentially, we have given the campaign creation process a much more fluid workflow thanks to a more natural and less rigid navigation. We pleased to have already received a number of positive remarks regarding this new experience!

Focus on responsive design

Our drag-and-drop responsive email design builder is still the at the heart of the campaign creation process — and it has also been improved!

Notably, we have updated the default template with a more modern design:

By choosing various elements with your mouse from the left column and adding them to your template, you can organize and design your email as much as you want.

As always, you can use our library of email templates for inspiration or directly creating your emails based any one of the premade designs.

Thanks to our design tool, any email that you create will automatically be adapted to the size of each recipient’s screen (responsive design).

If you want to preview how your email will look on different devices, you can use the icons in the top left corner.

You will also be able to see a preview back in the campaign editor workflow after you complete and save your email in the design tool. By clicking on ‘Rotate,’ you can visualize how your email will look on smartphones and tables, both horizontally and vertically.

Segmentation made easy

Segmenting your contacts is an essential part of email campaign performance. We have simplified the segmentation process in the campaign editor to make this functionality even more accessible for all of our users.

As you play with the different options for segmenting your contacts, click on the ‘Update Recipient Count’ to verify the number of actual recipients for your campaign based on the segmentation criteria.

This will allow you to perfect your segmentation strategy in a much more intuitive way.

The new confirmation step was developed so that you can more easily verify all of the important points of your campaign before hitting send:
