Holiday marketing calendar 2024 overview

Here is a preview of what to expect in this year’s holiday marketing calendar.

January 2024

January is the start of the new year and new beginnings. People start their New Year’s resolutions with the help of Dry January, a month-long challenge for staying sober.

Look forward to famous holidays like New Year’s Day and get inspired by lesser known opportunities like Chocolate Cake Day.

February 2024

February is a time for eating chocolates on Valentine’s Day and sharing some love. For Americans, it’s also a celebration of Black History Month.

From the Super Bowl to Chinese New Year, there’s something for everyone to celebrate during this cold month.

March 2024

The first day of Spring is coming, and so are lots of other exciting things that you can use to engage your audience.

March is Women’s History Month in the US, and it’s only fitting that International Women’s Day would also be in March. You can also get ready for Puppy Day for all dog lovers out there.

St. Patrick’s Day falls on March 17th, and don’t forget about Easter, which is also in March 2024!

April 2024

Embrace the change of seasons this April and celebrate the earth and good health.

Have some fun with April Fool’s Day and finish the month strong with Earth Day.

May 2024

Celebrations in May include everything from Star Wars Day to Mother’s Day. It’s time to celebrate not just mothers, but mother figures as well. It’s also good to remember that some people have lost their mothers and can also be included in your message.

Memorial Day falls on November 30th 2024 and is a moment to honor the Americans who died in military service.

June 2024

The sun is shining, school is coming to an end — it’s time to celebrate summer!

Some themes to look forward to are oceans, fathers and father figures on Father’s Day, music, and Pride Month.

Historical days like Juneteenth can also be observed by your brand.

While most people are focused on the outdoors, June is still a time to connect with your audience and stand out from the competition.

July 2024

This July is a little different than usual this year with the Summer 2024 Olympics. It’s taking place in France, but you can still show support for your team, or use it as an excuse to eat croissants!

July wouldn’t be complete without Independence Day in the US is on the 4th of July.

August 2024

The temperatures are high, and people are coming back from camping trips. Get your back-to-school deals ready and catch up your audience on anything they might have missed while on vacation.

September 2024

September is a bit like January: Kids are heading back to school, and adults are setting goals, and getting focused  — but not before Labor Day on September 2nd!

Some holidays to look forward to are Teddy Bear Day and Talk Like a Pirate Day.

October 2024

The spookiest month of the year is here, and kids and adults alike can’t wait to enjoy some Halloween candy.

But before getting there, you can always celebrate International Coffee Day on October 1st – especially for all the roasteries, cafes, and coffee shops out there.

November 2024

The start of the holiday season is just around the corner. Send out a fall newsletter, and get your Thanksgiving, Black Friday, and Cyber Monday campaigns ready.

Looking to connect with a more local community? Small Business Saturday is a great way to get in touch with your audience, share your product, and make sales.

December 2024

Brighten the darkening days with celebrations from around the world, candles, and delicious baking.

The Winter Solstice is on December 21st, and marks the end of fall and the beginning of winter days ahead.

Christmas Eve and Christmas Day follow right behind. This year, Hanukkah starts at sundown on the 25th.
